Our Board Of Directors Shri Sanjiv Chadha – Chairman (DIN : 08368448) Shri Sanjiv Chadha has over 32 years' experience in Banking having started his career with SBI in 1987. Prior to joining Bank of Baroda, Shri Sanjiv Chadha was working as DMD, SBI and MD & CEO of SBI Capital Markets Ltd., the Merchant and Investment Banking arm of SBI. He served in various geographical locations of SBI spread across different circles and abroad. Some of his previous assignments includes Executive Secretary to the Chairman of the SBI Group. He has worked in SBI's Los Angeles Office and was also UK Regional Head. His areas of specialism include Retail Banking, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, Structured Finance and Private Equity. Shri Sanjiv Chadha has been appointed as Director of the Company with effect from May 20, 2020 and further designated him as Chairman of the Board. Shri Debadatta Chand – Nominee Director (DIN : 07899346) Shri Debadatta Chand is an Executive Director f Bank of Baroda. Shri Chand is a B.Tech, MBA, CAIIB qualified Banker with PG Diploma in Equity Research and Certified Portfolio Manager. He has over 27 years of experience in Commercial Banks and Developmental Financial Institution. He started his career in Allahabad Bank as Officer in 1994 and subsequently worked as Manager in Small Industries Development Bank of India [SIDBI] from 1998 to 2005. He joined Punjab National Bank in the year 2005 as Chief Manager, rose to the level of Chief General Manager. Prior to joining Bank of Baroda as an Executive Director, he was heading Mumbai Zone as CGM, PNB. During his long stint in the Banking Industry, he gained varied exposures in all important spheres of operational and strategic Banking with special expertise in Treasury Investment Banking and Market Risk Management. He successfully handled the responsibilities such as Head of Zonal Audit Office, Patna, Circle Head of Bareilly, Head of Integrated Treasury Operation of the Bank and Zonal Head of Mumbai Zone – one of the Biggest Zones of the Bank. He was also on the Board of PNB Principal Mutual Fund, SWIFT India Pvt. Ltd and many of the Private Equity funds ex-officio in India and also in one of the overseas subsidiaries of the Punjab National Bank. Shri Debadatta Chand has been appointed as a Nominee Director of the Company with effect from November 24, 2021. Mrs. Rajeshree Sabnavis – Independent Director DIN:06731853 Rajeshree Sabnavis specialises in tax advisory and transaction tax matters and has over 20 years of experience in advising clients on their cross border acquisitions and implementing the India business strategy for multinationals. She has also advised multinationals including Fortune 500 companies in the areas of tax and transfer pricing, and has assisted large Indian Companies in implementing their transfer pricing across jurisdictions in the ITES sector. She has worked with some of the larger portfolio investors investing in India including some of the large Institutional investors in managing their tax compliance and litigation in India. Rajeshree is part of the Direct Taxation Committee with the Bombay Chamber of Commerce where she is a Co-Chairperson. In this capacity, she has represented India business Houses and Multinationals on various tax issues before the Central Board of Direct Taxes. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. Ms. Rajeshree Sabnavis has been appointed as an Independent Director of the Company with effect from 06.05.2017. Ms. Rajeshree Sabnavis has been re-appointed as an Independent Director of the Company with effect from 06.05.2022. Shri Arvind Mahajan – Independent Director DIN:07553144 Shri Arvind Mahajan, is a graduate (B.Com. Hons) from Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of India and has attended management development programmes of Michigan Business School and Harvard Business School. He has more than 38 years' experience in management consulting & industry. His management consulting experience has included more than 22 years as partner with AF Ferguson & Co, Price WaterhouseCoopers, IBM Global Business Services and most recently with KPMG. His industry experience was with Procter and Gamble in financial management and management reporting. In his career at KPMG India (2006-2016) he has lead the management consulting services and later the energy, infrastructure, government and healthcare practices of the firm. He also had the privilege of being member of KPMG's Global Management Consulting and Global Infrastructure sector Leadership teams. On retirement from KPMG, he set-up Samiksha Advisors LLP (August 2016), a strategy and board advisory firm, of which he is Managing Partner. His specialization is in advising CEOs & Boards in area of business strategy & helping "make strategy happen" through growth & transformation initiatives. He has also has strong background in corporate finance, enterprise risk management & people and change. He has advised clients in a diversified portfolio of industries with special emphasis on energy, infrastructure, resources, financial services, technology and telecom sectors His clients have included some of India's leading business groups and MNCs as well as government organizations including PSUs. Shri Arvind Mahajan has been appointed as Independent Director of the Company with effect from 15.09.2017. Shri Purshotam – Nominee Director (DIN : 08504005) Shri Purshotam has diversified career spanning over 34 years in Banking and Mutual Fund industry. Shri Purshotam, is a Commerce Graduate (Hons), with additional qualification of MBA (Finance) from FMS, Delhi University. Besides that he is also Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB), has completed DBF, Chartered Financial Analyst(CFA) and also Fellow of Insurance Institute of India. He joined State Bank of India in 1982 and worked for 4 years. Thereafter he was with UTI Mutual Fund for 17 years and worked in various departments, viz; Equity Research, Money Market dealing, Operations, as Branch Manager and as AVP in Central Processing Cell. He worked in various capacities for 13 years in erstwhile Dena Bank including Mutual Fund distribution, Branch Manager, AGM Treasury (including Incharge front office, back office etc.), Zonal Manager of Mumbai Suburban Zone, DGM in Field GM Office, Maharashtra & Goa, Zonal Manager of Thane Zone. He was General Manager in charge of Resource Mobilisation, Treasury, Security & Service Branches etc various Department in Dena Bank. Post-Merger of Dena Bank with Bank of Baroda on 1.4.2019, He became General Manager of Wealth Management services & Demat on 6th May 2019. Shri Purshotam has been appointed as Director of the Company with effect from July 18, 2019. Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (DIN : 08760229) Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma is General Manager, Bank of Baroda. Born on September 13, 1975, Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma is a professional banker. Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma is a Science graduate with banking (CAIIB) qualification and has been a career-banker. He joined Bank of Baroda in December 1998 as an Officer and rose rapidly within the Bank to become the General Manager of the Bank in 2020. He has held many critical and distinguished positions at various branches, Regional Offices, Corporate Office and even overseas. Prior to assuming charge recently as MD & CEO of BOBCAPS, he was heading Corporate Financial Services Branch of Bank in Mumbai. The Board of Directors of the Company at its 138th Meeting held on Wednesday, July 08, 2020 has appointed Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma as Director and designated Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Shri Sanjiv Saraff – Joint Managing Director (DIN : 09136947) Shri Sanjiv Saraff has been appointed as Joint Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. April 2021. Mr. Saraff has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services. Prior to joining Bank of Baroda, he has worked with ICICI Group for 17 years in various roles encompassing Investment Banking at ICICI Securities, Product & Distribution at ICICIdirect and Private Banking & Retail Banking at ICICI Bank. He has also been a VC nominee Director on boards of several companies. He is an MBA from Delhi University and commerce graduate from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta University. He has been an active committee member of CII, Indian Merchants Chambers and Founder-mentor of CII's Young Indians. His areas of specialisation include Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth Advisory, Broking & Distribution, Venture Capital & Fintech. |
